What is Khumic E+

KHUMIC-E+ is a granular natural soil conditioner, organic chelating agent, and natural plant growth stimulant derived from highly active weathered lignite. KHUMIC E+ Humate Potassium Fertilizer is ideal for use with granular fertilizers such as urea. It has a significant effect in releasing phosphate locked by Fe3+ and Al3+ plasma. Potassium humate can also slow-release nitrogen fertilizer and promote the effect of NPK fertilizer.

Features and Benefits:

  1. Enhance soil structure and plant nutrition: Water-soluble potassium humate can improve soil structure and soil aeration, and optimize plants’ absorption of N, P, and K. Khumic E+ provides stable humus to the soil while also helping to sequester carbon dioxide and promote long-term soil fertility. In light, sandy soils, using Khumic E+ increases cation exchange capacity, resulting in better nutrient and water retention. This enhances root nutrient absorption. In heavy, dense soils, together with fungi, they form a detrital structure that creates an environment conducive to improved water, oxygen, and nutrient uptake. This symbiotic relationship promotes increased root penetration and improves the soil’s buffering capacity.
  2. Balance the pH value of acidic and alkaline soil, neutralize toxins, and isolate heavy metals in the soil: Humic acid can buffer the pH value, neutralize acidic and alkaline soil, and eliminate harmful substances in the soil. Under alkaline conditions, humic acid plays a vital role in pH buffering, promoting the conversion of nutrients and trace elements into plant-absorbable forms. This conversion is critical because, at high pH levels, many essential nutrients and trace elements remain unavailable to plants. In acidic soils, humic acid is effective in reducing toxins such as aluminum and heavy metals. By binding and immobilizing these harmful substances, humic acid lessens their toxicity and releases phosphates previously bound to the aluminum. Additionally, in salinized soils, potassium humate breaks down salts, binds them, and chelates cations with high exchange capacity, such as calcium and magnesium, thereby reducing osmotic pressure within the root zone.
  3. Promote plant growth and yield: Khumic E+ potassium humate stimulates plant growth and increases yield and quality. By activating seed membrane and metabolic activity, germination rates can be significantly increased, and the root’s nutrient uptake capacity is also improved, converting essential elements such as nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, iron, zinc, and other trace elements into forms that are easily utilized by plants. This conversion will result in a 30% increase in output. Thus, enhanced cellular assimilation as well as photosynthesis increases the plant’s sugar and vitamin content.
  4. Protect groundwater: Humic acid binds to nitrates and retains them around the root zone, which results in better preservation of drinking water by reducing nitrate infiltration.
  5. Improve pesticide efficiency: Khumic E+ water-soluble potassium humate can improve the efficacy of herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides, and fix or reduce their harmful residues.
  6. Stabilize nitrogen and improve nitrogen efficiency (very suitable as an additive to urea). Complexed with phosphates to reduce lock-in (ideal as an additive to DAP/MAP etc.).

What is Khumic E+

User Guide:

  1. Base fertilizer: 5-10 kg/ha, preferably applied in conjunction with nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizers. Mixed application with nitrogen fertilizer: 5% of the total amount (that is, add 5 kg of potassium humate granules KHUMIC E+ for every 100 kg of urea, DAP, MAP.)
  2. Agriculture: field crops (wheat, rice, corn, etc.), vegetables (eggplant, cucumber, etc.) application: broadcast 80-100 kg/ha, in-furrow and side application 40-50 kg/ha
  3. Lawn grass/pasture landscaping: 0.5-2 kg/planting hole or 675-980 kg/ha, evenly applied to the fruit tree shade area together with the first fertilizer
  4. Horticulture: Mix 2-5% of Khumic E+ to the total soil potting mix or 1% of the total soil when applied with the seed.
  5. Irrigation: 5-8 kg/ha (When used in drip irrigation tanks, dissolve the material in a small tank and filter, and the residue can be used as base fertilizer.)
